You will come out of Teacher Training with a vast understanding of yoga asana, philosophy, and anatomy which will give you the confidence to lead others through their yoga practice.

Curriculum

Hot 8 Yoga Teacher Trainings have been carefully designed to get you teaching fast.

We provide you with a safe and effective yoga sequence for all Training modalities. Upon completion you will receive an official yoga certification accredited by the national Yoga Alliance, which will certify you in teaching yoga throughout the country.

Scheduling

With sessions primarily offered on weekends, our Teacher Trainings are designed to be incorporated seamlessly into your busy life.

Our 6-hour weekend Teacher Training sessions allow you to dive deep and immerse yourself in your training journey. Please consult your Lead Trainer with any scheduling questions or conflicts so we can find an alternative solution for you!

Power Yoga Teacher Training

200 HOUR, YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED

Join us for our 10-week, 200 Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training! Our experienced trainers offer a sacred space for you to learn the ancient teachings of yoga and facilitate self-transformation in a fun, caring and supportive environment. Whether you aspire to teach, are an experienced teacher or simply want to deepen your practice, this training will empower you. Our training is about learning through experience to become an effective teacher. The Power Yoga Teacher Training will give you tools to apply on and off the yoga mat! In this 200 hour Teacher Training you will learn the foundational postures for a power vinyasa-style class. It is an intensified whole body strengthening practice that includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, arm balances, core strengthening, backbends, hip openers, inversions and restorative postures. We will explore Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Meditation and Sanskrit. Through this practice you will develop strength, flexibility and balance with a sense of well-being, clarity, and peace of mind. We will give you the tools in the business of yoga and how to apply the principles of yoga to your daily life.

Hot 8 Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance and meets the Yoga Alliance training standards for a 200 hour training. All graduates of a RYS are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

Hot Power Fusion Yoga Teacher Training

HOT POWER FUSION YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

200 HOUR, YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED

Join Hot 8 Yoga for our 10 week Hot Power Fusion Teacher Training. Our 200 hour program will give you the tools to become an excellent teacher, bring your practice to a new level and guide you through an emotional experience that will empower you to be your best you. At the end of the program you will be given a 200 hour certificate of completion and be eligible to teach at Hot 8 Yoga! We are a Yoga Alliance approved school.

Whether you aspire to teach, are an experienced teacher or simply want to deepen your practice, this training will empower you. Our training is about learning through experience to become an effective teacher. The 26 & 2 Yoga Teacher Training will give you tools to apply on and off the yoga mat!

Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training

60 HOUR, YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED

Learn to create renewed energy, mental focus, and increased endurance with Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training! Join an incredibly dedicated team of teachers in discovering a new perspective to the many benefits of yoga through strength training and cardio! This teacher training will challenge you to tap into your inner warrior!

Hot 8 Yoga Sculpt is a Vinyasa-style dynamic flow class with free weights added for increased muscle endurance. This power-up session is designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. Free weights serve as a personal guide to deepening your practice. Strength training builds lean muscle mass and boosts metabolism even while resting.

In this training you will:
Learn the Hot 8 Yoga Sculpt sequence and how to vary the levels of cardio, core work, and intensity
Delve into the 8 Limbs of Yoga
Understand the benefits of adding weight training, cardio, and intense core work to a yoga practice
Learn how to inspire, motivate, and empower yourself and others
Receive a Yoga Alliance 60-hour Yoga Sculpt Certification
Memberships: A Hot 8 Yoga membership is required during the duration of the training

Yoga Barre Teacher Training

60 HOUR, YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED

Whether you aspire to teach, are an experienced teacher or simply want to deepen your practice, this training will empower you to dive deeper. Hot 8 Yoga Barre is a dynamic fusion of yoga, body sculpting, barre work, and non impact cardio that will get you long and lean. Inspired by the revolutionary exercise routine developed in London by the world-famous modern dancer, Lotte Berk and her orthopedist, the class is filled with strengthening postures at the barre that works the legs and abdominals intensely fused with yoga postures on the mat to release and lengthen from the barre work. This class is a cardiovascular program of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches. Yoga Barre will tone your buttocks, abdominals, thighs, and arms. It will also improve your posture and form a sculpted physique. With the use of your own body weight for resistance and through dynamic exercises, the muscles are targeted and overloaded to the point of fatigue, then stretched through our yoga series for release.

Yin Yoga Teacher Training

60 HOUR, YOGA ALLIANCE CERTIFIED

Yin Yoga is a practice to create equilibrium and open the body through supported postures. These long-hold postures with deep breathing are a doorway to stillness, insights and repair. In this 4 week training we will cover the purpose of Yin Yoga and how it can be an indispensable tool for balancing a busy life. This training is designed for Yoga Teachers and students to deepen your knowledge of Yin Yoga.

We will study the fundamental Yin Yoga Postures and targeted benefits.
Learn Basic Teaching Tools on how to sequence and teach Yin Yoga.
Deepen your awareness with basic Anatomy, Kleshas, Koshas, Meridians and Chakras.
