What to bring

Arrive about 15 minutes early with water and clothes you can sweat in, bring a mat and a mat towel, or rent at the studio. Lockers are available to safely store your belongings and showers are available at all of our facilities so you can refresh after class.

What to Expect

Our classes are heated at 108 and our studios monitor humidity and control oxygen levels. Our air purification system is equipped with UV-C lights & bipolar ionization to keep the air clean.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR A HOT YOGA CLASS?
  • Bring water! Be sure to hydrate before and after class
  • Wear clothes you can sweat and move in (no underwear or bathing suits)
  • Avoid eating 2 hours before class to maximize blood flow
  • Arrive early to allow time for parking & check-in - check out our social distancing measures here. Late entry will not be permitted

We have a variety of class offerings to suit your specific yoga needs. All of our classes are all-levels, and we encourage you to try them to see what works best for you and your body! Let the teacher know of any injuries before class so they can provide modifications.

WHAT IF I’M NOT FLEXIBLE?

You are in the right place! In fact, many people start their yoga practice with the exact same goal in mind. The heat will help open up your muscles so you can stretch safely and prevent injury. So much of our daily activity shortens and weakens muscles — hot yoga counteracts that by lengthening and strengthening muscles to increase flexibility and prevent injury. With a consistent yoga practice, your muscles will open up and become more flexible. Be sure to check out Hot Power Fusion, Power 1, and Yin if you are looking to gain flexibility.

HOW MANY CALORIES CAN I ACTUALLY BURN?

Depending on your body composition, class style, exertion and other variables, it is possible for clients to burn 500 to 1,000 calories during class. But it doesn’t end there. Hot yoga classes can increase your metabolism well after class so you can burn even more throughout your day. Individual results may vary.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE PROGRESS IN MY YOGA PRACTICE?

Most people notice some changes even after their very first practice. Remember that every body is different, and your yoga journey is just as unique as you are! The more you practice, the more benefits you will see.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE?

Practice as often as you’d like! The more you practice, the more results you will see. A good goal is to practice at least 2-5 times per week to see results. Just be sure to take care of yourself by drinking plenty of water, listening to your body, and taking rest days when you need to!

WHAT IF I DIDN’T LIKE MY FIRST CLASS?

Not a problem! We have many different classes to choose from, and promise there is one that fits your yogi needs!

THE CLASSES ARE TOO HOT. WHAT DO I DO?

You are not alone! Know that it can take 3-7 classes (or even more) for your body to acclimate to the heat. It is completely normal and okay to be a little overwhelmed during your first class! Be kind to yourself: listen to your body, rest when you need to, and try to stay in the room. The more you practice, the stronger you get.

WHAT IF I’M NOT ABLE TO DO THE WHOLE CLASS?

That’s okay! We encourage you to listen to your body and take breaks when you need to. Know that every day is different, and you’ll feel stronger on some and less on others. Remember that yoga is a practice - so you’ve won just by showing up on your mat!

DO I NEED TO BRING MAT & TOWEL?

Mats and towels are available for rent, otherwise you may bring your own! 

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE FOR CLASS?

Our class schedule is very extensive and usually there is another class within 30 minutes if you show up late. Latecomers will not be let into class, no exceptions.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS & LOCKERS?

Yes! Our lockers are set-your-own-code, so no need to bring your own lock! We recommend using the lockers for peace of mind during class that all your personal belongings are safe.

Once you create your profile through our website or mobile app, you’ll be able to purchase our Welcome Week here or check out our New Student Welcome Week page to check out all of our classes.
